My PE landed me in the hospital for...I can relate! My PE landed me in the hospital for 3 weeks last year. Surgery broke some ribs, removed as much fluid as possible from left lung, blood clots & fluid around the heart. You don't want to have to go through that! I too, start coughing around October & then usually have bronchitis from January through May.
